Gecko Loco

Gecko Loco's new owners (Fall, 2023) have finished their improvements and have the home ready for guests!  It has an abundance of outdoor decks that offer stunning views over both the South and North Shores of West Bay. This is true outdoor living with interior luxury.

The home boasts a large, well-equipped kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher.  The kitchen flows into the dining area where there is seating for 6.  The living room has a comfortable L-shaped couch and a 50” TV.  The open floor plan lends itself to an enjoyable group experience where guests in the kitchen and living room feel close.

The decks!  There are decks on each of the three levels, with those on the main level having a table that seats 6, outdoor sofas and a hammock.  The decks on the main level are accessible by the dining area and large glass sliders in the living room and main level king bedroom.  The views go all the way down the south shore of Roatan and on clear days guests can see our sister island, Guanaja.  There is a private deck off the bedroom on the second level with similar, beautiful views as below and another deck off the second floor landing that looks out to the northwest.  The third floor has decks on 3 sides of the house that provide nearly 360 degree views of both shores of Roatan. 

Gecko Loco has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths on 3 separate levels.  There is a king bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom and a TV connected to local cable.  There is another king bedroom on the second level, this one also with it’s own bathroom and a private deck overlooking the Caribbean’s south shore.  In the Turret on the third level is another bedroom, this one with a queen bed and a twin bed.  Each bedroom has separate air conditioning units for guest comfort.

The new owners of Gecko Loco have made many upgrades to the home to enhance the guest experience.  These include new interior painting, a redesigned entry, some new furniture and upgraded soft furnishings.  They have also added fiber optic internet and local cable.

Enjoy the use of the Turrets community pool, a short walk down the hill and always a tranquil place to soak up the sun.  Gecko Loco is close to all the activities and action on West Bay Beach (only a 15-minute walk away), yet far enough away for total privacy and relaxation.
