Originally developed as one community, this small complex features Spanish Colonial-style buildings set around a peaceful cobblestone courtyard with a central fountain, creating a tucked-away escape walking distance from all the amenities West Bay offers.
Each building includes spacious interiors, porcelain tile floors, Honduran hardwoods, granite kitchen countertops, German-made doors and windows, and open-concept layouts designed for breezy island living. You’ll also find stainless steel GE Profile appliances, Simmons pillow top mattresses, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and private patios for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.
What’s the Difference Between Mission Gate and Caribbean Breeze?
While both are part of the same community, there are a few key differences to note:
- Mission Gate consists exclusively of 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condos (with one 1-bedroom exception), each with 1,164 square feet of space. Guests also enjoy access to two rooftop pools – great for sunbathing or enjoying a cocktail as the Roatan sunset fills the sky.
- Caribbean Breeze includes a mix of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units, making it a great option for couples or smaller groups. While these units don’t include rooftop pools, they still have full access to the shared courtyard and all the comforts of home in a centrally located setting.
No matter which side you stay on, the entire property offers a private and quiet stay, with easy access to restaurants, beach bars, dive shops, and local attractions.
