Located at the Northern end of West Bay Beach, Bayside 1A is a spacious beach front home. Bayside Villas is a quiet condo development with only 6 units sharing the small beachfront pool. Just a short walk from the dive centers, resorts, bars and restaurants of West Bay Beach yet far enough away for privacy and quiet. If you want to be within walking distance from the action, but not in the middle of it, this is the beachfront condo for you.

Bayside Villas 1A is on the second and third levels of the building, and has an open floor plan that allows guests comfortable living.  The kitchen area has enough space for extra chefs when preparing group or family meals, and the kitchen counter offers seating for 6.  The kitchen flows into the dining room and living rooms, and the back deck is accessible through glass sliding doors from both areas.  With the windows and glass doors, this entire area is bathed in beautiful, natural light. The back deck overlooks the Caribbean Sea, the beach and the pool area.  There is access from this deck down to the pool and beach areas.

Two of the home’s three bedrooms are located on the main level.  The first bedroom has a double bed, the second has a queen bed with an en-suite bathroom.  There is also a half-bath on this main level, as well as two futons in the living area to allow up to 8 persons to sleep comfortably (please see charges for extra guests over 6).  Upstairs is the third bedroom, a huge master suite.  There is a queen bed, full bath with washer and dryer, and a private sunbathing/stargazing deck over the lower deck.

Bayside Villa 1A also offers unlimited wifi service and local cable TV on the 36” flat screen with surround sound.  There is ample parking at Bayside Villas should guests have a rental vehicle.  On the main level deck are lounge chairs and a charcoal grill, and there are a couple more loungers on the upper deck.  Come enjoy all West Bay Beach has to offer in a very private setting.

Very friendly. I tried to figure most things out by myself, but when I finally had to call for assistance, I realized I should have called earlier- they were so very warm and helpful.

I love this place and would stay here again. Only things I would point out are regarding outside maintenance of grounds, there is some litter at the driveway entrance that is not a nice welcome- also, the hammocks on the beach need to be replaced. I believe they are noted in the property description so regardless of whose they are they ought to be functional and they arent. REPLY: Thank you for your observations. We've talked to the caretaker about the garbage and hope to have new hammocks very soon. We hope to have you back!

I would recommend working with the owner of the property to the left to improve its cleanliness - remove leaves and plants that attract mosquitos. Repair or replace metal chairs located in balcony 2nd floor.... they are rusted. Check-in could be done at house instead of the office. RESPONSE: Thank you for your review and suggestions. We have contacted the neighbor about their deck, and we are also shopping for new patio furniture. In regards to the check-in procedure, we check guests in at the office so they know exactly where we are should they need anything. Since we are less than 5 minutes away from the house, we hope it was not too big of an inconvenience. We hope to have you stay with us again.

Everyone on the team was extremely helpful and responded in a timely manner to emails and phone calls leading up to our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ryan who provided us with a run through of the house and explained services. He was very calm and friendly and even asked about activities we were interested in so he could assist. It was great that everyone on the team was willing to help even if they weren't the ones who we made the reservation with.

Our stay at Bayside Villas 1A was magnificent! The home was absolutely beautiful and located right on the beach. We were a family of 10 and accommodated perfectly in the home. The upstairs master bedroom has an incredible view of the ocean and sunset from the balcony. The only thing I would add is for them to add a curtain to the big side window next to the staircase for more privacy. Every single member of the family was in love with the home and stay. Very big kitchen with all supplies needed. The home even included beach towels, sunscreen, and mosquito spray. The pool was very clean and every morning they would filter the water. We have zero negatives reviews for this lovely home. However, two things we think that could be better is for new kitchen utensils since the water filter system on the island is not wonderful and the salt from the water causes rust on the utensils. The other is for a way to fix that the shower water at times is very salty and every one in a while has a smell of mangrove. However, this is very much understandable since it is an island. Being frequent visitors to Honduras and Roatan we were not disturbed and believe it to be expected. Pretty much our stay was amazing and we will return in the future.
